EMC Sports -Our second race of the season was held at Alpine Ski Club in Blue Mountain which saw Mirisha Russett taking the gold medal and first-time medal winner Megan McLean taking the silver for the girls. Eric Cholasta was on the podium again this weekend taking another silver medal for the boys. Assisting with valuable points were Julia Press (fifth), Hannah Merajac (sixth) and for the boys Taylor Russett (fifth) and Liam Conroy (seventh).

Alpine Ski Club did a great job hosting. We raced a challenging panel slalom course. Awesome coaching by Colin Conroy and Mark Cholasta led to a win for the Batawa K1 Tigers over Chicopee (Kitchener) a close race of 262 to 260. Next race has us back at Alpine next Saturday for a giant slalom course.
