TSA turkey supper a tremendous success
Posted Feb 16, 2012 By Iain HendersonDear Editor,
The first official function in the new community hall of Trinity St. Andrew's United Church was extremely successful. For many, it was their first experience of the new hall and their appreciative comments were very welcome.
Over 350 people enjoyed a wonderful turkey dinner with delicious homemade pies as dessert. There were two sittings and the event raised about $3,500 for church funds.
Special thanks are due our many volunteers, with the men in their colourful shirts and hats, spearheaded by Ken McClintock, our Director of Music, Ken Laird who provided such pleasant music for the gathering throngs and to Mike and Lori of No Frills who provided the turkeys.
Upcoming events planned for the new hall are a Spring Fashion Show on April 21 and a Gala Dinner and Auction on May 11. See you there!
